Tilled raises $10M+ after 5x YoY enterprise growth and launches Portfolio Autopilot

By Caleb Avery, Founder and CEO
BOULDER, Colo., Oct. 19, 2026 – Tilled, the Boulder-based start-up that pioneered PayFac-as-a-Service to help software companies realize the full benefit of embedded payments, today announced more than $10 million in new funding on the back of 5x YoY revenue growth in its enterprise channel, led by UPC Capital Ventures, KORT Payments, and Avenue Capital Group. This brings Tilled’s total funding to over $50M. Tilled is also announcing the public launch of its AI-powered payments marketing engine. Portfolio Autopilot, the AI-powered marketing engine we built to grow Tilled, is now open to every payment company that wants to put their growth engine on autopilot. We’ve market-tested it for years, scaling our own lead funnel, and we’re launching it publicly this week at Money20/20 in Las Vegas. Additionally, we are excited to welcome Danny Chazonoff to our board.
ISOs, Banks, Processors, and Platforms need new ways to compete against Stripe
Stripe set the standard for software companies: instant onboarding, clean APIs, and real-time reporting. Banks, processors, and ISOs already have the hard parts – they have the licenses, the sponsor banks, and the team in place to scale. What they’re missing is the modern software stack to compete with Stripe and other managed Payfac providers. Building this software stack in-house takes years and a large engineering team.
Tilled’s enterprise offering gives partners the whole stack with their name on it, in a matter of months, for a fraction of the cost:
- White-labeled ISV and merchant digital onboarding
- Developer-friendly single API and SDKs for card, ACH, and card-present
- Full lifecycle reporting from authorization to clearing to funding and chargeback management
- Branded dashboards and API docs hosted on the partner’s custom domain
- A reseller dashboard that tracks every ISV, ISO, and merchant in the portfolio
- A custom integration to the partner’s processor, sponsor bank, and risk tools
Merchants and ISVs never see the Tilled name. Partners run the program under their own BIN, own the merchant accounts, and keep the lion’s share of the revenue.
Twelve enterprise partners now run their own PayFac-as-a-Service programs on Tilled, including partners like North, Paysafe, and KORT. That enterprise channel grew more than 5x year-over-year, and their AI-powered payments marketing engine, Portfolio Autopilot, is only accelerating that growth.
Why we built our AI-powered marketing engine, Portfolio Autopilot
Most ISOs still grow the way they did 20 years ago – feet on the street and cold calls. That model costs a fortune and the pipeline dies the day you stop dialing.
Portfolio Autopilot is a white-label, done-for-you merchant acquisition engine for ISOs, processors, banks, and platforms that lets Tilled’s partners go from research to live spend without an agency. We build the pages and run the ads. Qualified merchant and ISV leads land in your CRM. You underwrite and sign. The whole book compounds under your brand.
Here’s how it works:
- We pick verticals with cheap clicks, strong tickets, and low attrition. Think auto repair, HVAC, towing, and dental.
- We build a landing page for each vertical with your ROI math and a calendar to book on the spot.
- We run managed campaigns on Google, Meta, and LinkedIn, and keep A/B testing the pages.
- We screen every lead for real pain, decision authority, and an open switch window.
- Each lead goes to your CRM, exclusive to you and never resold.
- You see cost per lead, cost per signed merchant, and residual added.
Merchant campaigns fill your direct book.
ISV campaigns target software partners that each carry a portfolio of their own.
We ran it on ourselves first
Portfolio Autopilot runs on the same engine that has been feeding Tilled’s own pipeline for years.
Here’s what it produced so far in 2026:
- 394 qualified inbound ISV leads
- 61 ISV leads in August, a record and more than double January
- 233 ISV and enterprise leads routed to partner sales teams
- 115 ISVs already processing $1M or more a month, 25 of them over $16M
- 42% of ISV leads who named their current provider are on Stripe
The merchant marketing funnel runs on the same AI-powered marketing engine and is already driving some incredible results for our partners.
The math
There are three plans. Starter manages up to $10K a month in ad spend on Google. Growth goes up to $30K across Google and Meta. Scale goes up to $75K and adds LinkedIn, a full CRO program, and weekly reporting.
Here’s the base case for a Growth client with a $30K monthly ad budget bringing in about 25 activated merchants a month. All-in acquisition cost comes to about $1,375 per merchant, including management fees. A merchant paying $200 a month in net residuals pays that back in about 7 months. In the low-attrition verticals we target, a merchant stays five years or more, so it returns roughly $13,000 over its life. That’s close to 10-to-1 on acquisition cost.
Results vary by vertical, underwriting box, and sales follow-up. We’ll build a forecast on your numbers in the demo.

How is Tilled moving forward with new capital funds?
We’re going to keep building. Next is a set of embedded finance products, each one gives ISVs and enterprise partners a new way to earn from their portfolios:
- Embedded banking
- Embedded lending
- Instant deposits
- Advanced payouts
More on each of these soon.
